The Qvest Hideaway

Stayed there for a weekend trip with my partner. As she likes both old chateaus and interor design staying at this hotel was the ideal romantic trip for us. Since our dates had to be shifted a few times due to the pandemic and local restrictions, I was in touch with the hotel staff over a few months and they handled the situation very forthcoming and uncomplicated. When we finally made it there, we were absolutely blown away! The building has a very unique vibe inside. The interior is tasteful and luxurious. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly without being pushy. We were treated very generously in various aspects like an upgrade and free late checkout. It could be that this was due to the low occupancy in the pandemic and the positive and respectful relationship I had built in the time running up to our stay, but in any case it really speaks to how much they value their guests. I can see how the missing aircon is an issue in the summer. I am sure they would love to install aircon but they can’t due to the monument protection of the building. For us, staying in the suite in the second floor with an outside daytime temperature of 27°C, we were still able to have a cool enough night for a comfortable sleep in the fanstastic bed. It was an experience that we will certainly not forget. I highly recommend to stay here. Having read some of the other reviews, it feels like upgrading to a higher tier room is certainly worth it.

We spent in The Qvest 3 days, cause we were invited to a family gathering in Cologne. We left thinking about how special our stay was. The breakfast served in the bar with that view on the church, the staff so friendly but at the same time so discreet, the music in the lounge perfect. The attention to every detail and the good taste that makes the difference. If you are looking for something different, you are in the right place.
