Best place in Strasbourg
I have had 2 times lunch and one Family dinner here during our vacation. Best steaks, best burgers and I am super impressed about their service. I travel the world and this is way above highest standards in France. Congratulations for a fantastic restaurant. Never given 5 stars before, even at Michelin.

Why did I wait?
Backstory, I’ve been working in Strasbourg for over a year, and went here for the first time at the weekend. Why did I wait? Went to the restaurant without a booking, and was seated quite quickly. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering an English menu, which was gratefully received. Took a few minutes to decide, because everything looked good. Finally settled on the Nachos to nibble before the main course arrived. Ribs, which were delicious, washed down with a nice pint of beer. Finished the meal with Key Lime pie and a coffee. Felt sated but not stuffed. Will I be back, definitely. There’s too much on the menu to try. Excellent service, excellent food.

My place!
Steakhouse District is right on the centre of the city in the main walking street , hidden in a quite corner, and what an amazing restaurant. Walked in the first day and it was packed, but as i was on my own it wasn’t that difficult for the charming waitress to find a table for me. Went through the menu, and everything looked so tasty ( I’m a big fan of meat especially Beef) and the Steakhouse District got an amazing local and international selection of steak, tenderloin and ribs. also a large choice of drinks : soft, wines, spirits, cocktails ....everything you fancy to go with your meal. first dinner there was a success, so i came back the next day ! ( usually i never do two meal in the same restaurant when i’m visiting a city ) but i was so satisfied that i’ve decided to comeback. And it was just as perfect as the first time, maybe more as it was less crowded. If you are looking for a good steakhouse with a nice drink as well, i highly recommend Steakhouse District. the service is really amazing as well ( don’t follow older reviews as it looks like the staff has changed now : fluent English speakers , smiling and helpful ).

The best steak house in Strasbourg downtown
Beautiful well serviced restaurant, staff friendly and helpful. They speak English as well that together with English menu make easier the food selection. The beef is really good: angus options from Scotland and Argentina. Highly recommended the Scottish one with roasted potatoes and home made sauce. The best place after tourism visit and shopping day. House red wine Pinot Noir is exceptional: really good French wine.

Quality Steak
I read some of the reviews and was concerned about the references to poor service, no English, etc., butwent anyway because I really wanted a steak. It turned out well. The hostess was friendly and seated me immediately, with an English menu, the server was prompt and we communicated just fine, and the rib-eye (Argentine) was great. A bit expensive but I would repeat. The Bordeaux, by the glass or pitcher, was terrific too.
