Stay in a Castle

Sleep in an old castle in luxury. This was a beautiful room and the price was actually still reasonable. The rooms are large, clean and the windows look out over a great landscape. Our window viewed the turret. We visited relative so we didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant. In Merseburg a few minutes away, there were some great old buildings and museum.

Just beautiful

We have spent one night at this place, but I would wish to stay there forever ;-) It is so beautiful, very tastefully equippet and the service is excellent. Our room was big, with a nice beds and furniture, and the bathroom too, pretty and very comfortable. I appreciated especially the mirror where a person normally using glasses can see herself or himself near to it, especially by putting make up on. Thank you for that. The whole place is beautiful and the ambiente is created with the guest in focus. Every small detail is thought through for the benefit of the guest. We ate the dinner at the castle, and the cuisine is on a high level. The breakfast was fabulous, and the personal came often out to check, if something was missing. During the night it was quiet, and peaceful. The price for our room and breakfast was very reasonable comparing with other places, because this hotel gives one much more luxury and service, then many others with the same rating. Just well done. i cannot find anything, but superlatives about this hotel.

Excellent castle between Halle and Leipzig

We had en excellent stay at Schlosshotel Schkopau located very close to Halle and Leipzig. Very spacious room and very large bathroom with all you need. View from the room to the castle tower and courtyard. Very clean and beautiful decorated in all parts of the castle. Very helpful reception and service in general was at the top. An excellent restaurant, where your breakfast was served and dinner in the evening. We can really recommend this place. Will come back.

Wonderful place

Stayed here for one night only -unfortunately- and found out all simply lovely. The hotel is based is in a castle, really fascinating, rooms are very clean and service professional and friendly. Excellent value for money
