Great Food and Service

As a regular customer I love the atmosphere and the great service. Always friendly and very welcome! The quality is great, and they come always up with new plates. My advice, check their Brunches on Sundays!

Excellent food, decent-sized portions, great atmosphere

I had supper here yesterday and I was really excited about this place. I’ve eaten here twice before and liked it both times. But yesterday I think they outdid themselves. I had a chicory salad with oranges, walnuts and bits of bacon as a starter. Absolutely delicious (and I never like salads!). As a main course I had a simple risotto (al dente) with two sausages. Simple but also very tasty. We paid just over Fr. 100 per person for a three course meal, a bottle of wine, water and coffee. I don’t think that’s excessive (for Switzerland). The place was packed, but the service was good throughout. The atmosphere was very, very nice. I’d go back any time.

Must try

It’s a business restaurant! Especially from Thursday onwards (weekend). The food is absolutely amazing and it has plenty of healthy option to choose from. The menu changes sometimes, hopefully nothing you loves comes out of the menu! I definitely recommend a visit. It has great wine and the food is really yummy. Very friendly staff, quick and efficient with a smile. They always bring humus and bread while you choose your food.

nicely understated

Our first visit to wonderful Basel and this restaurant was recommended .... we were looking for a good (not flash) local restaurant and this is what Trio is...we sat outside on the terrace which is a treat when you live in England!..the food and service were spot on so we spent a very enjoyable evening eating nice food and supping good german wine...thank you

Outstanding foof

I was there last weekend. The restaurant is rather small but very nice. The food is really outstanding, I had probably the best beef tartare ever. Only the service has some room for improvement when it comes to speed! But other than that, a great place to go.

We’ll be back

Was here with friends for a spontaneous dinner. Really nice interior, great staff and delicious food. A refreshing athmosphere, definitely a goto-place. Dishes could be a little bigger, but still reasonable for the price. Can recommend the schnitzel!
