Great place to eat!

I have been a couple of times to Gordion now when visiting for business - each time I have been provided with great service and great food. The lady on front of house is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. I would always recommend!

Good! Also for vegetarians

Had the veggieburger and salad from the buffé for dinner. The food was weel cooked and tasted really good and the price was more than ok (and generous portions, you will not leave hungry that’s for sure). It is not so common for a good steakhouse to also serve good veggie-food but Gordion really delivers. Also... friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I can easily come back here again.

It’s Hard to Find Better Beef!

I don’t know why I’m writing this, as it’s already 50/50 whether you can get a table at Gordion already, but here goes... The beef at Gordion is among the best you will find - anywhere in the world. Not the best, mind you, but consistently outstanding. I’ve probably been 20 times in the past three or so years and never even been mildly disappointing. It is staffed by attractive and friendly waitresses and they have good wine at good prices. You just can’t go wrong. Even if you are staying in Augsburg, it’s more than worth the 15 minute ride to Gordion.

Beautiful steak

Went for a meal here with a couple of colleagues and had a rib-eye steak, which I ordered blue. My colleagues had a sirloin and a (more cooked) rib-eye. All three meals arrived very quickly and cooked to perfection! the meat was fantastic and was juicy and cut like butter. One of the best steaks I have ever had in a restaurant. The service was attentive, friendly and efficient with a sense of humour - Faultless.

I LOVED this restaurant

The staff make this place, as they are so helpful and friendly. Twice I arrived for a drink before they had opened and they were still extremely welcoming. Great varied menu with so much to choose from. Loved the terrace outside too and judging by the number of people there by 6pm it is very popular with the locals. Would definitely return to the Gordion if I can.

Great food and next to Hotel Am Europlatz

Ate outside - food was good, service very attentive and reasonably priced. Husband and I both had local beers, schnitzel and salads. Very filling and great food.
