Super food, good location

Menu in English, very helpful staff, good atmosphere and wonderful view of lake and mountains. The food we had was top class, inclusive of a salad selection from the excellent buffet laid out inside. €50 for two main meals, one very good sweet, 2*250ml local wine and a water. We will return.

Lovely food and what a view

We had dinner on several evenings here and it was delightful. It has to be said that the view from the dining room area is just stunning and the food did not disappoint. Nicely prepared tasty food, good portions efficient service and reasonably priced. We liked it very much indeed.

Great food, lovely location

Some may be put off by the prices at the Geiger restaurant, but you get what you pay for here - quality. The location is perfect, on the bank of the Hopfensee. If you’re able to reserve a table in the wintergarten, then do, the view is very pleasant. The restaurant as a whole has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had mains, deserts and coffees; all very good quality, and worth the money. We will definitely be visiting again on our next visit to the area.

Excellent dinner, nice atmosphere

During our last say at Hopfen am See, after a nice walk around the lake we chose this restaurant for dinner, and we didn’t regret! Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, gave us good advises regarding the dishes. The menu had several excellent and non-trivial options. Also they had "American meet week", we decided to go for local cuisine and it was simply great! The only thing we missed - was the dessert of the day, it sounded promising, but after a soup and a main course we couldn’t even think about eating anymore. We will definitely return there on our next visit.
