Excellent menu complet!

We ordered the “menú complet” which included a first plate (anything from the menu), a drink and dessert or coffee for 13€. In such a touristy place it’s great deal. Delicious food, good quantity, fresh and hot out of the kitchen. A small family owned business. They were very busy but the food was worth it. Definitely recommend!

Good local food

We were keen to try the Tartes Flambees and Le Palais Gourmand got good reviews so we decided to give it a go. We were really glad we did. The tarte, which is like a very flat pizza was really tasty and good value. We also tried a crepe with Grand Marnier which was boozy and sweet. Service was good and we really enjoyed our dinner. We’d certainly recommend for a simple, local style meal.

BEST meal in France- friendly service, A/C and amazing crepes

We LOVED this restaurant! Although it may now be called La Palais de Gourmand (at least that’s what the sign says). Anyway, my family of 5 ate there twice during our visit to Colmar. It was 103 degrees outside and this place had large tables, air conditioning, beer, wine, and OUT OF THIS WORLD crepes. Not to mention the best part of all - our waitress Caroline!! We had some hilarious interactions with her our first night - she was a great server but also gave my dad some sass which was very funny. We came back a second night and enjoyed her again. Probably our favorite meal in France!

Great food, cheerful service, and open late

Colmar goes to sleep early so we were thrilled to find this place still open at 10.00pm and happy to serve us dessert after an evening stroll. It was really great food and we were treated royally and cheerfully by the mâitre d’, as the chef happily whipped up a crêpe for us. So many other places were shut, or shutting and sent us away! This place deserves to be on your list!

Unbeatable value for money, great attention

In a city where everything tends to be expensive, this place provides good quality, varied food at really affordable prices. Besides, the staff were really nice and efficient with us, they make efforts to provide a good service and assist you in different languages. In spite of being busy on a saturday night (it’s a warm, cozy place), they arrange a place for us without previous booking really quickly. Recommendable
