Out of time hotel in the middle of nature
I loved everything about this hotel, the location, the clever architecture and furbishing solutions, and the sprawling nature around and in front of the windows. Water extracted from the running river under was feeding a mill, and the construction is a typical rural house, alone in front of the fields and the forest. Comfort is assured and the guests have a high attention to the quality of service, while living as a family there. You need a car to arrive there.

A charming surprise of a hotel
The hotel is, I believe, an old converted mill and it retains all the character of the original building. It has the feel of a family business which they care about deeply, so much better than a big brand hotel. Each bedroom is individually decorated and named and mine was a good size with exposed wooden beams and sloped ceilings. The staff were very helpful and keen to ensure I had everything I needed. The location is scenic if a little away from public transport - my taxi driver needed directions from me to find the hotel. Breakfast had plenty of variety. This hotel would be a great romantic break for a couple who have time to explore the countryside surrounding the hotel.
