Cosy restaurant.
We went there in the evening with reservation ,we were greeted by a waitress who checked our EU Covid Passes before entering .The restaurant is nice some knickknacks creating pleasant atmosphere. It’s small place so reservtaion is necessary. Safety distance between the tables was kept .The menu was not very big ,but the offered dishes were interesting. We ordered 1 jar of local red wine 50 cl,1 tapas for 2 persons,the most interesting was Foie gras creme brulee,1 Onglet Angus,Canadian beef, Cordon Marcheur(Cordon leu) ,1 tarte de jour ,1 creme brulee miel,2 cafe .All total 79,60 €.The portion were generous and very tasty and the waitess was competent and vey friendly,english speaking.The atmosphere was very nice.

Great restaurant, friendly and good food
Great restaurant, friendly staff and great quality Alsace food. We had the 2x snails for starters and they were delicious!! Onglet, Choucroute (my wife loves this), Cordon blue with spaertzle and Elsass burger. All were really well prepared and we all ate heartily, nothing left on our plates!

Our hotel round the corner, recommended 3 Strasbourg restaurants for local food, we tried all 3 and found this the best, (and best value). Our waitress was friendly, accepting our poor language skills and timed our meal perfectly. The restaurant was full, with a nice atmosphere and the portions, as everywhere generous. The House riesling was well priced at 13 euros for a 500ml. pitcher. They were happy for us to share starters

Taste of German Flare in Starsbourg
We cannot think of a better way to end our two week trip in France. This charming spot had a friendly staff, great location, and delicious food! Of course we were wanting some german inspired dishes while we were in Strasbourg and La Coccinelle delivered! Highly recommend this spot if you are in Strasbourg!
