Biker friendly Black Forest hotel
Visited this hotel for two nights as a group of 12 motorcycle enthusiasts. Rooms and bathrooms (in the new part) were very large and modern. Great balcony. Also had the set evening menu in the evening which was lovely and very reasonably priced(as was the drinks prices). Staff / owners friendly. The waitresses Leah/Denise ? were very friendly and super efficient. The drying room provided by the hotel was particularly useful as we had ridden through what can only be decribed as a monsoon to get there. As the owners are motorcycle owners themselves they know what services to provide. In all everyone had a great time with no complaints whatsoever. If we ever visited that location again I would definitely stay again at this hotel.

Perfect stay in Schenkenzell
Arrived at the hotel late afternoon, plenty of parking so straight to check in, receptionist was friendly and spoke very good english, out room was all ready for us and we were directed to it via either lift or stairs. Room was immaculate and spacious, great rain shower in the bathroom, free water was available and the room was immaculate. We ate in the restaurant, food choice was typical German, waitresses very good, well cooked and tasty food, not too expensive. Great beer choices too. My wife and i would definitely stay there again.

Business trip
Great little place very modern rooms to stay in amazing food and drink with a warm atmosphere. The were great hosts with a late check out time it made it easy. Also very close to the train station thanks.

An excellent choice.
We have seen the Waldblick advertising at the Motorcycle show every year and always said we would stay there if we went to the Black Forest. Well now we have and we’re very glad we did. The hotel is in a great location, with plenty of parking, a garage for the bike and a supermarket opposite. The hosts and staff are all lovely and friendly. We went for a superior room which was very comfortable and spacious with a nice balcony. We were half board which was excellent value with a starter, choice of two mains and a desert and all the food was very tasty. We really enjoyed our few days at the Waldblick and will stay again if we return to the area.

Stayed here so often it feels like home.
Our 4th visit here didn’t disappoint. Franz and Brigitte Kilgus are lovely hosts and greet you with a lovely war welcome. The hotel is is a great location in the heart of the village and has ample parking. The rooms are very large, very clean and comfortable, and very well appointed. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. The food is very good and the atmosphere in the bar/restaurant is very warm and friendly. Looking forward to staying again next year.
