Haus Sonnbichl

Wir waren im Rahmen einer Fortbildung im Haus. Tolle Aussicht zu den Chiemgauer und Berchtesgadener Alpen. Sehr schön! Auch die Auswahl an Frühstück und Abendessen ist ausgezeichnet. Gerne mal wieder auch mal privat.

Haus Sonnbichl was our best find on a recent trip to Germany and Austria. This B&B sits atop a hill surrounded by farmland just a few hundred meters from the center of the village of Teisendorf, 23 km from Salzburg. Our room was a double with a large sitting area including a sofa and a coffee table. The room opened onto a private balcony. The view from our balcony was of the spectacular Berchtesgadener Alps to the southeast. On the third floor of the B&B there are two refrigerators, one for guest’s food and one containing beer and soft drinks available for purchase at supermarket prices. The whole B&B is delightfully decorated and immaculate. Breakfast was excellent. Salzburg is an easy drive, bike ride or train trip from Teisendorf. The village is home to the excellent Wieninger Brauerei with some of the best beers in this part of Bavaria. Nearby Schönram is home to Landbrauerei Schönram where you will find beers not found anywhere else in Bavaria. Our room and breakfast at Haus Sonnbichl was 58 Euros or about $83. It was a great bargain.
