„Ohne Bedenken“ ist die einzige noch existierende historische Gosenschenke der Welt. Der große Biergarten mit Grill gehört seit 2012 jährlich zu den TOP 10 in Deutschland. Neben traditionellen hausgemachten sächsischen Gerichten gibt es seit 2017 auch eine kleine Hausbrauerei, in der die „Edelgose“ gebraut wird.

Charming and full of character

Really enjoyed our visit to this pub. Can only imagine what it is like in the summer with it’s huge beer garden. The man that served us was so proud of the beer he served us. It was lovely. Big menu to choose from although on this occasion did not eat. Plenty of choice, plenty of history and character. Very friendly. Highly recommended.

Charming and friendly

Staying at an apartment nearby and this place was the first recommendation from a local on the street. We had a pleasant walk there later that night. We weren’t disappointed. Authentic, historical, with it’s special tangy beer and good food. We sat inside with only locals. Very satisfying.

Delicious beer, interesting food and friendly service

Really enjoyed our visit today to this pub brewery. Firstly it was good to get a bit if a walk outside the city centre, although you could also take the team. Then we were lucky to get a seat having not booked but because we were early (about 5pm) the staff fitted us in to a table that had a later reservation. While I endeavour to speak German it was useful to also have a menu in English although not everything was completely translated. For example Wildgulasch was not translated... venison goulash (or casserole) if you decide to go for that. We love sour beer, so the beer flight tasting was ideal and then we chose our favourites. If sour beer not your thing then it’s also traditional to add various fruit flavours which soften and sweeten it on the palate. Bottles of other beers, wine and cider also available. Onion cake... an onion and bacon pie... delicious! Thank you all at "Ohne Bedenkung"!

True local place

It was perfect experiment of local cuisine. Plenty of satisfying delicious food. The best beer that is brewed in the house. Very good personal and cozy atmosphere, you can feel like in early 20 century

Original beers

Came here as part of a private party for a wedding celebration in December. The buffet food we had was delicious, but the highlight was the lovely Gose beer they served. You could have different flavours, I recommend the mango flavoured Gose, it was delicious! The outside beer garden looked like it would be amazing in the summer too, shame it was too cold when we were there!
