Extra mile

We arrived a bit late and actually the kitchen was already closed but the lady informed us that the kitchen could make an exception for us. As a starter we ordered a cheese and sausage platter to share: very tasty! As a main course I ordered the chicken salad which I enjoyed. Overall I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant as they took the extra mile, were friendly & quick and offered nice food for a reasonable price.

Just right for an early dinner: great value for money

Generous, high quality starters e.g. the ‘small’ 4-seafood appetiser and tasty main course pasta dishes, ensured we were well-fed at lower prices than many comparable restaurants. By choosing a bottle from their deli shelves and paying the corkage charge, we also had wine at much better value for money than elsewhere in Berlin. A great find, perhaps especially for Brits struggling with Brexit!!

Good service, good food, go here

Slightly off the main tourist area there are several restaurants around Savigny Plaza. We were fortunate enough to get a table in Bertolini’s on a busy Saturday night. We had the plate of mixed anti pasti for a starter followed by a calamari pasta for me and a lamb chop pasta for my wife. The house wine was excellent for the price and the service great. If you can find your way to this area then this restaurant is well worth a visit.

Just as good as the first time

Once again in Berlin we visited this great restaurant again. Wow the food was just as delicious and well prepared as we remembered it, the wine selection just as awesome. The prices as they were very inexpensive for what you receive. What a great value proposition. We thoroughly had a great night with a fantastic waitress from Croatia, funny and extremely knowledgeable and friendly. What a superb night it was. Next Year rest assured we will be back . If you do not visit this place you will miss out on some of the best Italian food there is.

one of my favorites spots in berlin .

absolutely delicious !! the sausage and cheese platter were excellent, For a main course we ate pasta was really delicious. The desserts were a little disappointing. Total recommended Although this is not a cheap place

Great service and great pasta

Great service - very friendly. The restuarant has a very nice relaxed ambience and the fresh pasta was magnificient.

Fabulous

Absolutely great! I came across this place by chance and, as an Italian who’s been away from home for years, I was extremely glad to find a place where real Italian food is served. The customers were a mixture of local Italians and Berliners, the atmosphere was lovely and careful attention was paid to details which made the place feel homely. Being sat directly across from the cold food prep area, I had the pleasure of observing a very talented man making lovely dishes with care and attention that were delicious as well as eye catching. I will definitely be returning before flying home.
