Amazing food and fantastic service. The Apple wine is delicious as well. Super friendly, cheap, and tons of food. Definitely go here. LOVE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The food was absolutely amazing and the portion sizes a good size! Cosy restaurant with an amazingly Frankfurtian atmosphere that serves Frankurt and Hessian delicacies, must-visit if you are in Frankfurt!

Very good schnitzel!! Very big portions, one portion enough for two. Highly recommended. Had the frankfurt cider, which has a bit of a acquired taste, but not bad.

This was yet another great tavern we visited in the Sachsenhausen district of Frankfurt were we sampled the world famous apfelwein. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit,great decor and furnishings,a cool serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this tavern and it obviously needs lots of seating as on our visit this place was packed. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Saturday night and this place was rammed,we very luckily managed to get a table were we got an apfelwein each and these were served in tip top condition,we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular tavern. I really enjoy the sharp,tart and slightly bitter taste of apfelwein,it’s very refreshing and makes for a nice change from the lager style beers we had been drinking earlier. The atmosphere in here was superb ,as was the apfelwein,we ended up staying here for three apfelweins each ( think we should have just got a big jug of apfelwein ) before we moved on and for a first time visit we were very impressed with the great tavern. Apfelweinwirtschaft Proletariat is really easy to locate on Dreieichstraße in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,5pm till 1am. A great tavern and one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.
